Childcare Workers Reach Tentative Settlement with State
Posted on July 8th, 2008
Child care workers in Washington came to a tentative settlement with the state in a case challenging the legality of home searches, the seizure of documents and the inappropriate intimidation of workers by state and federal officials. The latest edition of the CLS Connection includes an article about the courageous child care workers who brought suit and the proposed settlement. Notice of the proposed settlement has been sent to all state-paid child care workers in English and Spanish. The class notice is also available Russian, Vietnamese, and Somali.
